Started the session reviewing what we learned from our opening weekend of ECNL competition. I want to cover things while they’re fresh. The more the girls hear things, the more these things will sink in.

Or one can only hope :)

We then spent some time on aerial ball control ideas.

Taking advantage for the 1/2 field we had for training, we moved to some long ball striking/control, working on putting a name on the ball if you’re going after a loose one, and working on providing good support for that player.

Then came a good 45 minutes of 8v8 to goal. Free play at first, then added in some fun restrictions (no passing forward, and then no passing forward with your strong foot).

We finished the session with some fitness.
